A new official Nintendo store opened in November in the Daimaru Umeda department store in Osaka's downtown. The 800m² sales area on the 13^th floor features around 2,000 items, including clothing and general goods themed on characters from games such as Splatoon, The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario series. Giant model figures are placed throughout the store, making it a fun place to just look around. Nintendo Osaka is the company's second directly managed shop in Japan, following its first one in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward, which opened in 2019.
