Nordstrom has scheduled a mass hiring event in Norwalk starting Friday, Aug. 16 and extending into Saturday, with the company aiming to fill many of the 280 jobs it is creating at its SoNo Collection mall department store slated to open in October. Available jobs are listed online and include sales positions, building maintenance, premise security, hair stylists, nail and brow technicians, and food and coffee staff. The new Nordstrom will take up 140,000ft² (1,300m²) of the SoNo Collection’s more than 700,000ft² (65,000m²) of space.
