Italian fashion house Gucci is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a series of pop-up shops — and two of the limited locations are in Canada. Holt Renfrew in Vancouver and the Gucci Toronto flagship store on Bloor Street are among 11 North American locations to debut the latest Gucci Pop-Ups, each one designed to celebrate 100 year of Gucci style. The temporary shopping spaces include pieces from the anniversary collection including ready-to-wear and accessories in a multidimensional, immersive, dedicated environment inspired by the vision of Creative Director Alessandro Michele. In Vancouver, a dedicated window display at Holt Renfrew along with a visual installation inside the luxury department store are also part of the launch. Along with the celebratory centennial collection designs on display, visitors can peruse a specially selected playlist of songs — each of which includes the Italian fashion house’s name among its lyrics.
