With summer holidays in Germany slowly coming to an end, all three luxury department stores starting with KaDeWe this week and Alsterhaus and Oberpollinger following next week welcome especially their young guests with a ‘Back to School’ campaign. On three weekends each of the stores will offer a curated program with pizza parties, cotton candy stands, arts & crafts workshops and in Berlin a kiddie discotheque. While kids and their parents can observe colourful monsters fool around in a classroom that is the central motif in the department stores’ windows, instore international toy and clothing brands’ newest collections as well as German manufactures’ products are available to sweeten the return to school.
