Le Bon Marché Exhibition to Focus on Dogs

The department’s store coming exhibition is titled ‘Je t’aime comme un chien’ and will be held from February 8 until the end of April. Dogs will appear in all areas of the store, in the communication, scenography and products. The building's famous escalators will be transformed into giant bones, ‘doghouse’ motifs will be affixed to the walls, while images of dogs will punctuate the aisles, in a pop colorama (green, pink, blue, etc.). In the windows, more than 380 dog figurines will nod their heads to bring a smile to passers-by. Nearly 200 brands will participate, specialists of dogs products (accessories, food, toys, etc.), and brands which will imagine their first objects for dogs, or for humans but with an image referring to the dog’s world. For the occasion, leather goods manufacturer Moynat is unveiling a monogrammed tote bag with a large cut-out to allow you to carry your dog. Call It By Your Name is launching a dog basket made from bandanas, Gas Bijoux is making collars, Saint James has knitted a dog sweater, while APC and Carel have designed stylish leashes.

The beauty brand Holidermie has even imagined, with the pet food brand Franklin, healthy treats for doggies, taking care of their joints for example, under the name Holidog. Cut by Fred has also created a first shampoo for dogs, while La Bonne Brosse has released a brush for dogs. On the event side, place a café space set up with Bâtard Magazine and the Casa del doggo bakery, which will feed humans (for example with lattes topped with a canine image) as well as dogs. There will also be grooming sessions for doggies, while artists will come and sketch the profiles of dogs and their owners live.
