IGDS companies have adopted since 2003 a Code of Conduct which is establishing the principles of reponsible retailing and purchasing.
IGDS member organizations recognize the need to manage their retail business so as to balance the interests of all stakeholders including customers, employees, investors, suppliers and their workers, the community, the government, non-governmental organizations and the environment. With this aim, all IGDS members adopted since 2003 the Principles of Responsible Retailing and a Code of Conduct.
These two important documents were prepared by the IGDS High Potential Group, as part of its international assignment.
