• Background: De Bijenkorf and delivery service Packaly have teamed up to deliver packages on the same day by bicycle. The collaboration applies to all branches of the department store
• Description: Customers who live in the vicinity of the Bijenkorf branches in Amstelveen, Amsterdam, The Hague, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Rotterdam and Utrecht and who order before 2pm can receive the parcels the same day.
• Impact: The service also contributes to the company’s greater goal of operating completely CO2 neutral by 2040. At the end of 2020, de Bijenkorf also started a temporary delivery service by cargo bike.
